07:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Kampala and begin your scenic drive westward to Kibale. Drive through the lush countryside, tea plantations, and traditional homesteads.
01:00 PM – Arrive in Fort Portal and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or en route.
02:30 PM – Proceed to Chimpundu Safari Lodge, a serene retreat on the edge of Kibale Forest.
03:30 PM – Check-in and relax. Optional guided nature walk around the lodge grounds or visit the nearby crater lakes (time permitting).
07:00 PM – Enjoy a chef-prepared dinner. Overnight at Chimpundu Safari Lodge.

06:30 AM – Early breakfast at the lodge.
07:30 AM – Transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for briefing before your chimpanzee trek.
08:00 AM – Begin the chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest. Trekking may take 2–4 hours depending on the chimpanzees’ location. Once found, spend up to one hour observing them up close.
11:30 AM – Return to the lodge for relaxation and a hot lunch.
03:00 PM – Depart for a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run eco-project known for rich birdlife, monkeys, and unique flora.
05:30 PM – Return to the lodge for downtime or optional spa treatments (at own cost).
07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Chimpundu Safari Lodge.

08:30 AM – Depart Kibale and begin your return journey to Kampala.
