Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Shaba National Reserve
08:00 AM: Pick-up from Nairobi hotel/residence. Depart for Shaba via Nanyuki and Isiolo (approx. 6 hours drive).
12:30 PM: Stopover in Nanyuki for refreshments and optional shopping.
02:00 PM: Arrive at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. Welcome drink and check-in.
03:30 PM: Afternoon game drive in Shaba National Reserve. Search for the “Samburu Special Five” – Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk.
06:30 PM: Return to lodge, freshen up.
07:30 PM: Dinner at the lodge's restaurant under the stars.
Overnight: Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
Day 2: Full Day at Shaba National Reserve
06:00 AM: Morning tea/coffee.
06:30 AM: Sunrise game drive – ideal time to spot predators and active wildlife.
08:30 AM: Return for buffet breakfast at the lodge.
