Embark on a captivating primate safari to Kibale National Park, home to over 13 species of primates and the largest population of wild chimpanzees in Uganda. This 3-day luxury escape offers unforgettable chimpanzee tracking, birding, and wetland walks—while staying at the scenic Crater Safari Lodge, set on the rim of Nyinabulitwa Crater Lake.

07:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Kampala and begin your scenic journey westwards toward Fort Portal. En route, enjoy views of rolling hills, tea estates, and villages.
01:00 PM – Stop in Fort Portal for lunch at a local restaurant.
02:30 PM – Proceed to Crater Safari Lodge, situated on the edge of Nyinabulitwa Crater Lake, just minutes from Kibale Forest.
03:30 PM – Check-in and relax with spectacular views from your luxury cottage. Optional crater lake hike or lakeside walk.
07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Crater Safari Lodge.

06:30 AM – Breakfast with sunrise views over the crater lake.
07:30 AM – Transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for your chimpanzee trekking briefing.
08:00 AM – Start your chimpanzee tracking adventure through Kibale Forest. Accompanied by UWA guides, search for a troop of chimps and spend up to one hour observing them in their natural habitat.
11:30 AM – Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and relaxation.
03:00 PM – Head out to the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community-led walk. Look out for monkeys, birds, butterflies, and wetland flora.
05:30 PM – Return to the lodge. Enjoy a drink by the fire or optional spa treatment (extra cost).
07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Crater Safari Lodge.

08:30 AM – Check-out and begin your return drive to Kampala.
