Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park – By Road or Flight

Option A – By Road (Approx. 10–11 hrs)

07:00 AM: Depart Kampala for a full-day road trip through Uganda’s northern corridor, passing through Luweero, Gulu, and Kitgum.
01:00 PM: Stop for lunch in Gulu or Kitgum town.
05:30 PM: Arrive at Katurum Lodge, located inside Kidepo Valley National Park. Enjoy sunset views from your room or terrace.
07:30 PM: Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Option B – By Flight (Approx. 2 hrs)

06:30 AM: Transfer to Entebbe or Kajjansi airstrip for a scheduled or charter flight to Kidepo airstrip.
09:00 AM: Arrive and transfer to Katurum Lodge (approx. 30 mins).
11:00 AM: Check-in and relax with sweeping views of the valley.
01:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
04:00 PM: Optional short evening game drive (time permitting).

10:00 AM: Return to the lodge for rest or optional nature walk (on request).
