Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park – By Road or Flight

Option A – By Road (Approx. 10–11 hrs)

07:00 AM: Depart Kampala and journey north through Gulu and Kitgum, enjoying scenic views and rural villages.
01:00 PM: Stop for lunch in Kitgum or Gulu.
05:30 PM: Arrive at Kidepo Savannah Lodge, located just 500m from Kalokudo Gate.
06:00 PM: Check-in, rest, and enjoy sunset views over the park.
07:30 PM: Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Option B – By Flight (Approx. 2 hrs)

06:30 AM: Transfer to Entebbe or Kajjansi airstrip for your domestic flight to Kidepo airstrip.
09:00 AM: Arrive and transfer (approx. 30 mins) to Kidepo Savannah Lodge.
11:00 AM: Check-in and relax with optional short walk or scenic view.
01:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
04:00 PM: Optional sunset game drive in Narus Valley (if arrival time allows).

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Kidepo Valley National Park – Wildlife & Culture

06:30 AM: Breakfast and depart for a morning game drive through the Narus Valley, tracking elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and possibly cheetahs and ostriches.
10:00 AM: Return to the lodge to relax or enjoy views from your veranda.
01:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
03:30 PM: Afternoon visit to a nearby Karamojong village to learn about traditional customs, cattle keeping, and warrior dances.
06:30 PM: Return to the lodge and unwind by the fire.
07:30 PM: Dinner and overnight.
