Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive

  • 07:00 AM – Depart Kampala after breakfast and begin your journey southwest through Masaka and Mbarara.

  • 01:00 PM – Lunch en route in Mbarara town.

  • 03:30 PM – Arrive at Kyambura Game Lodge. Check-in and enjoy panoramic views over the Queen Elizabeth plains.

  • 04:30 PM – Head out for a sunset game drive in the Kasenyi sector. Look out for lions, antelopes, buffalo, and elephants.

  • 06:30 PM – Return to the lodge. Enjoy a refreshing shower, followed by dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Morning & Evening Game Drives – Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

  • 06:00 AM – Early morning tea or coffee, then set off for a morning game drive in the park. Great chances to see big cats, elephants, and abundant birdlife.

  • 10:00 AM – Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and time to relax by the pool or terrace.

  • 01:00 PM – Enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge.

  • 02:30 PM – Transfer to Mweya Peninsula for your boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. See hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and vibrant bird species.

  • 05:00 PM – Optional brief evening drive or return to the lodge for relaxation.

  • 07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Kyambura Game Lodge.
