Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala or Entebbe to Kidepo Valley National Park – By Road or Flight

Option A – By Road (Approx. 10–11 hrs)

07:00 AM: Depart Kampala in a 4x4 safari vehicle heading north via Luwero, Gulu, and Kitgum.
01:00 PM: Enjoy lunch in Gulu or Kitgum town.
05:30 PM: Arrive at Mara Safari Lodge, located near the park boundary with views of the surrounding savannah. Check in and unwind.
07:30 PM: Dinner and overnight stay.

Option B – By Flight (Approx. 2 hrs)

06:30 AM: Transfer to Entebbe or Kajjansi airstrip for your scheduled or charter flight to Kidepo airstrip.
09:00 AM: Arrival and transfer to Mara Safari Lodge (approx. 30–40 mins drive).
11:00 AM: Check-in and enjoy lodge amenities.
01:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
