Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive

  • 07:00 AM – Depart from Kampala with your driver/guide for the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

  • 01:00 PM – Stop for lunch en route in Mbarara or Bushenyi.

  • 03:30 PM – Arrive at Rift Valley Game Lodge. Check-in and enjoy the beautiful views over the savannah plains.

  • 04:30 PM – Depart for a sunset game drive in Kasenyi plains. Expect sightings of elephants, buffalo, lions, and antelope.

  • 06:30 PM – Return to the lodge, freshen up, and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Morning & Evening Game Drives – Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

  • 06:00 AM – Early morning wake-up call with coffee or tea.

  • 06:30 AM – Set out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector. Great chance to see predators like lions and leopards on the hunt.

  • 10:00 AM – Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and rest.

  • 01:00 PM – Enjoy lunch at the lodge.

  • 02:30 PM – Transfer to Mweya Jetty for your Kazinga Channel boat cruise. Cruise past hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and an array of birds.

  • 05:00 PM – Optional brief game drive or return to the lodge for relaxation.

  • 07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Rift Valley Game Lodge.
