07:00 AM – Depart from Kampala and drive westward to the lush region of Fort Portal. En route, pass through rolling green hills, tea plantations, and vibrant roadside markets.
01:00 PM – Arrive in Fort Portal and enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant.
02:30 PM – Continue to Volcanoes Safaris Kibale Lodge, located near the forest edge with sweeping views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
03:30 PM – Check-in and relax. Enjoy the property’s serene ambiance, optional nature walk, or a short hike to the crater rim trail.
07:00 PM – Savor a gourmet dinner prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Overnight at Volcanoes Safaris Kibale Lodge.

06:30 AM – Early breakfast with coffee or tea overlooking the forest canopy.
07:30 AM – Transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a pre-trek briefing.
08:00 AM – Begin your chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Follow experienced rangers through the rainforest to locate a chimpanzee troop. Spend up to an hour observing their social behavior once found.
11:30 AM – Return to the lodge and relax.
01:00 PM – Enjoy lunch followed by some rest time or optional lodge activities.
03:00 PM – Head out for a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, home to black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and a variety of birds.
05:30 PM – Return to the lodge and unwind. Consider an evening forest walk or enjoy storytelling by the fire.
07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Safaris Kibale Lodge.
