3 Days Murchison Falls Safari – Stay at Ziwa Rhino Lodge
This 3-day Uganda safari combines thrilling wildlife encounters at Murchison Falls National Park with a unique opportunity to track white rhinos on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you’ll stay at the peaceful and affordable Ziwa Rhino Lodge. The safari includes a game drive, boat cruise on the Nile, and an optional chimpanzee trekking experience in Budongo Forest Reserve.

07:00 AM: Depart Kampala and drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (approx. 3.5 hours).
10:30 AM: Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Lodge and check in.
11:00 AM: Enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot with a ranger.
01:00 PM: Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
03:00 PM: Optional guided nature walk or bird watching in the sanctuary.
07:00 PM: Dinner and overnight at Ziwa Rhino Lodge.
Accommodation: Ziwa Rhino Lodge (En-suite Room or Safari Tent)

06:00 AM: Early breakfast and depart for Murchison Falls National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hours).
09:00 AM: Enter through Kichumbanyobo Gate and proceed to the northern game viewing tracks.
09:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Enjoy a morning game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, leopards, and antelope species.
12:30 PM: Lunch near Paraa or packed lunch on safari.
02:00 PM: Embark on a Nile River boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and diverse birdlife.
05:00 PM: Optional hike to the top of the falls (if interested and physically fit).
06:00 PM: Return to Ziwa Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight.

06:30 AM: Early breakfast and check out.
07:00 AM: Optional transfer to Budongo Forest Reserve for chimpanzee trekking (requires advance booking and permit).
08:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Track wild chimpanzees in the rainforest with a professional guide.
11:30 AM: Begin drive back to Kampala with lunch stop en route.
05:30 PM: Arrive in Kampala and drop-off at your hotel or residence.
