Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Departure: 6:00 AM from Kampala by 4x4 safari vehicle
Drive Duration: 9–10 hours with scenic stops
Route: Kampala – Masaka – Mbarara – Kabale – Bwindi
Highlights:
- Stop at the Uganda Equator for photos & coffee
- Lunch en route in Mbarara town
- Enjoy beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda
Arrival: Late afternoon at Kiho Gorilla Lodge
Evening: Relaxation, lodge orientation, dinner

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park

Early Breakfast at the lodge
7:30 AM: Transfer to briefing point at park headquarters
Gorilla Trekking:
- Explore the rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family
- Once located, spend 1 awe-inspiring hour with the gorillas
