3 Days Murchison Falls Safari – Stay at Murchison River Lodge
Embark on a thrilling 3-day wildlife safari to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest and largest national park, while staying at the charming and eco-conscious Murchison River Lodge. Located on the southern bank of the Nile, the lodge offers stunning views, a tranquil setting, and easy access to the park’s top attractions, including game drives, a Nile River boat safari, and an optional chimpanzee trekking experience in Budongo Forest.

07:00 AM: Depart Kampala by road heading northwest through Luweero and Masindi (approx. 6–7 hours).
10:00 AM: Optional stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 1.5-hour rhino tracking experience on foot (extra cost).
12:30 PM: Lunch en route at Kabalega Diner or Masindi.
03:30 PM: Arrive and check in at Murchison River Lodge.
04:30 PM: Relax with views of the Nile, swim in the pool, or enjoy an optional guided walk.
07:00 PM: Dinner and overnight at Murchison River Lodge.
Accommodation: Murchison River Lodge (Thatched Cottage or Safari Tent)
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner
05:30 AM: Early breakfast at the lodge.
06:00 AM: Cross Paraa Ferry for a game drive in the park’s northern sector.
06:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Explore the delta and savannah in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, and more.
12:00 PM: Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and a short rest.
02:00 PM: Transfer to Paraa Jetty for a Nile River boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls.
05:00 PM: Optional hike to the top of the falls (moderate difficulty).
06:30 PM: Return to the lodge by road and relax.
07:30 PM: Dinner and overnight stay at Murchison River Lodge.

06:00 AM: Early breakfast and check-out.
07:00 AM: Optional transfer to Budongo Forest for a chimpanzee trekking adventure (requires permit).
08:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Guided trek through the rainforest to observe chimpanzees and other primates.
11:30 AM: Begin drive back to Kampala.
01:30 PM: Lunch en route at Kabalega Diner or Masindi.
06:00 PM: Drop-off at your hotel or residence in Kampala.
