Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive

  • 07:00 AM – Depart Kampala after an early breakfast. Begin your journey westwards, enjoying scenic views of Uganda’s rolling hills and plantations.

  • 01:00 PM – Stop for lunch en route in Mbarara or Bushenyi.

  • 03:30 PM – Arrive at Elephant Plains Lodge, located on the escarpment with sweeping views over Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in and refresh.

  • 04:30 PM – Depart for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains, known for lions, elephants, buffalo, and abundant antelope.

  • 06:30 PM – Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning & Evening Game Drives – Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

  • 06:00 AM – Wake-up call with coffee or tea.

  • 06:30 AM – Head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi and Mweya sectors. Spot lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, kob, and more.

  • 10:00 AM – Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and leisure time with incredible views.

  • 01:00 PM – Enjoy lunch at Elephant Plains Lodge.

  • 02:30 PM – Transfer to Mweya for a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a wildlife hotspot home to hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, and over 600 bird species.

  • 05:00 PM – Optional short evening game drive on the way back to the lodge.

  • 07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight at Elephant Plains Lodge.
